Katie, snow, and the igloo

Hi all,

Yep, we had snow, and it is really cold. The high yesterday was just 19F (-7C), but with the wind it was around 12F (-11C). Karen had Monday and Tuesday off because of the ice and snow.

We decorated the tree yesterday with Katie's help. She did great! She was the most surprised that the tree fit in the house at all! As I carried it in, she kept saying, "Too big! Too big!". It was really cute. It fact, Katie just said, "Daddy fit the tree in a house. It was big and heavy." Smart kid.

Anyway, as usual, there are a few photos below for your enjoyment. You can click any of these to enlarge. Have a great holiday.

Katie the painter. She is actually the paint taster at this point.

Snow comes to Beaverton-cum-Portland.

Katie in her entirely donated snow outfit. She was snug as a bug in a rug!

The Igloo of Bowmont Street
I can't take credit for building it. The 3 neighbor brothers across the street made it.

The Moon was quite amazing. Even after we lost power at 10:24 pm, there was plenty of light.

A little movie of Katie in the snow. Look at it fall!
